Shop Policies
Deposits
Deposits are to be made directly to your artist via their personal Venmo or Paypal, or in person with cash. Deposits are required for every new appointment and range from $50 to half of the final price of the tattoo.
Your deposit ensures that your artist is paid for their time drawing your tattoo, communicating with you, and setting up the materials for your appointment. It is our shop policy that if you no-call, no show, your deposit is forfeited and you will need to submit another deposit if you wish to reschedule.
Late Arrivals
You are expected to be on time to your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we reserve the right to forfeit your deposit and either choose not to reschedule, or charge a late fee of $80, which is the same as our shop minimum.
Numbing Cream
Michigan has recently passed legislation banning the use of numbing creams and sprays, and as such, we are no longer allowed to provide numbing. That being said: if you do choose to use numbing cream on your own accord, the State recommends that you consult with a physician before using it—if you do choose to use it, let us know what brand ahead of time.
Using numbing cream can create issues with healing ranging from color loss, infections, skin irritation and other unpredictable risks. If you choose to use it, we can not be held accountable for how your tattoo heals. We require that if you are going to use numbing cream, you run the brand by your artist and try a test patch for each new bottle you buy, even if you use the same brand. Never buy off-brands and always try to buy directly from tattoo supply websites or the suppliers themselves. If you do not adhere to these guidelines and your appointment needs to be rescheduled because of a poor skin reaction to the numbing cream, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to set a new appointment.
